A calming, color-driven take on timekeeping.
The Immersive Clock reimagines how we perceive time—through light, color, and movement. Using four glowing circles and a carefully defined color palette, it transforms time into a calming visual experience. Designed to make checking the time a more positive and relaxing experience, it blends functionality with emotional design.
By blending traditional time units with a color-based display, the clock invites a more emotional connection to time. Color and light are known to influence mood and perception, and here they create a gentle, immersive atmosphere that enhances daily life.
Designed as a mobile app and for smart home integration, The Immersive Clock was conceived, designed, and developed as a solo project.

Mechanics
The core elements of the Immersive Clock are colors and circles that move and interact, creating a dynamic visual composition. The background colors reflect the current season and time of day—winter's hues differ vastly from those of a summer night. The size of the circles corresponds to familiar time units: day, hour, minute, and second.
The current season determines the background color. The largest circle represents the day, moving from the top-left corner to the bottom-right. The hour is depicted by the middle circle, which moves from the top-right corner to the bottom-left. A smaller circle represents the minutes, appearing from left to right every ten minutes.
Seconds are symbolized by multiple smaller circles that pulsate every five seconds, providing a more soothing rhythm compared to updating every second.
