RECARO Gaming – Truly in Game
Brand identity and launch strategy for RECARO’s bold entry into the gaming market.
Entering the highly competitive gaming space, RECARO needed a unique brand identity that stood apart from its roots in automotive and aviation seating. We kicked off with a strategy and positioning workshop to define the brand’s voice and communication goals. From there, we explored 15 initial visual concepts, ultimately narrowing them down to three. The final direction—based on the Magician archetype—set the tone for a mystical, fantasy-driven brand language tailored to the gaming community. Don't miss the videos below.
21TORR – 2019/20
In collaboration with MSM Digital, we developed a campaign to introduce RECARO Gaming in early 2020. It featured six real-life gamers sharing their product experiences, wrapped in a visually immersive, fantasy-inspired aesthetic. Elements like dynamic lighting, glitch effects, and in-game visuals were rolled out across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Discord, bringing the brand to life in digital and physical touchpoints.
I co-developed the Magician concept and shaped key visual elements, including lighting styles, glitch motifs, and typographic treatments using the corporate font. As the team’s print specialist, I also translated the digital identity into print assets and supported on-set art direction during photo shoots. This project involved deep research into gaming culture and became a personal favorite during my time at 21TORR.
